Yoforia Announced First Locations Outside of Georgia - Charlotte!!

Yoforia Hits Charlotte
Atlanta-based Frozen Yogurt Company announces locations in Charlotte, NC

Atlanta, GA (October 22, 2009) Yoforia, having established frozen yogurt domination in Atlanta, has announced that they are expanding outside of the Peach State and opening two new stores this winter in Charlotte, NC.

The popular neighborhoods of South Charlotte and Myers Park have been chosen as the ideal environment for the rollout of Yoforia Frozen Yogurt in North Carolina. The new stores will be located in existing shopping centers of Selwyn Corners (2823 Selwyn Ave., Suite J) and The Shops at Piper Glen (6432 Rea Rd., Suite A-2-near Trader Joes). Each store opening will bring 10 new job opportunities to the area. Yoforia will infuse their traditional 1,200 square foot locations with their signature bright orange and green colors and clean, modern design. Operating hours will be:
Mon-Thurs, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Fri-Sat, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.; Sun 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Founded in 2007, Yoforia quickly became a sensation in Atlanta. The Yoforia mania led the company to expand to three locations within one year with plans for two more metro Atlanta openings in 2009. This winter, Yoforia has officially grown beyond the Georgia border and into the southeast with the impending opening of two Charlotte locations. A group of North Carolina-based private investors have championed Yoforia’s expansion.

At only 25 calories per ounce, this guilt-free treat is made of organic milk and yogurt and touts a refreshing ‘sweet yet tart’ flavor. Yoforia offers four flavors in its ‘low-cal’ lineup—original, pomegranate, dark chocolate and mango. Toppings range from seasonal fruit to granola, breakfast cereal favorites and popular cookies. Both stores in Charlotte will feature self-serve yogurt machines and topping stations, which will enable customers to create a personalized Yoforia treat.

“We are excited to introduce Yoforia to a new audience – Atlanta has been so good to us and we know that Charlotte will receive us just as enthusiastically,” said Jun Kim, Director of Operations and Expansion at Yoforia. Kendra Dodd of Charlotte is excited about Yoforia’s entrance into North Carolina. “I frequent Atlanta and fell in love with Yoforia during a recent visit, she said. I look forward to enjoying Yoforia in Charlotte with my family and friends.”

About Yoforia:
Yoforia takes great pride in their quality, health-conscious frozen yogurt and is easily Atlanta’s preferred destination for a sweet treat that leaves you feeling good. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, currently with three locations in operations and plans for a fourth opening fall, 2009, Yoforia has plans to continue expanding in Charlotte and throughout the southeast. http://www.yoforia.com/

Atlanta, GA (August 31, 2009) – Rumors have ‘swirled’ for months about Yoforia’s impending new locations. Hundreds of suggestions about ‘the next Yoforia’ have flooded the company’s Facebook account and store comment box. Yoforia executives have responded with the announcement of a new Vinings location that will open its doors to Yoforians (a.k.a. Yoforia fans) in Fall 2009.

Yoforia will open its fourth store in Vinings, just north of Atlanta. Perfectly suited to this unique and charming area, Yoforia is sure to be an instant success. The store will be located at the intersection of Paces Ferry Road and Paces Mill Road at 4338 Paces Ferry Road, Suite B., near SunTrust Bank and next door to Sweet Pockets Cupcakes. The Vinings store represents the first opening in a wave of new Yoforia locations planned across Georgia and the southeast.

The new location will open with a ‘twist’ on what Yoforians have experienced at the company’s other three locations. The new self-serve yogurt machines and a topping station will enable Yoforia customers to create a personalized yogurt experience. In addition to the classic flavors of original, pomegranate, dark chocolate and mango, Yoforia will also introduce eight new flavors to its low-calorie line-up.

Jun Kim, director of store operations for Yoforia, is excited about their expansion into the Vinings/Smyrna area. “We have responded to our customers and believe the Vinings store will open with a lot of support from our new neighbors,” he said. Vinings is filled with people and families who enjoy being out and about in their neighborhood, and we can’t wait to be a part of the excitement.”

Containing only 25 calories per ounce and made with organic fat-free milk and yogurt, Yoforia has quickly become Atlanta’s preferred guilt-free destination. The Atlanta-based company opened its first store at Perimeter Mall in August 2007 and quickly grew to three stores in the same year with a location in the Highlands and Alpharetta’s Windward community.
